Donnelley Constructions

Month: January 2015

More than half of the 70 Castlereagh St building is now covered with panels, with work progressing on an internal construction phase.

The internal construction phase involves working with the building tenants, as well as handling hazardous materials.

Despite encountering delays as a result of asbestos, design and inclement weather, the program forecasts completion date is in 2015. The external works including the façade and Level 11 Deck works are set to finish in July 2015, and the internal reveal works are due to finish in August 2015.

Donnelleys aim is to remove the hoarding from the site as soon as possible.

The project site is on the corner of King Street and Castlereagh Street within the prestigious luxury fashion precinct of Sydney’s CBD.

Donnelley Constructions are in the final stages of completing the contract for earth works on the new Northern Beaches Hospital site.

The contract includes site clearing and statutory authority service diversions including Ausgrid, Gemena, Telstra, Optus, Sydney Water and contaminated material removal.

The new facility will be built on a 6.5 hectare site at Frenchs Forest.

We expect work to be completed in the next month to hand over to Health Scope, who will complete works by the end of 2018.

The new facility will host 488 beds, a 50-space emergency department, 14 operating theatres and six surgical suites.

The hospital will provide surgical, paediatric, obstetric, inpatient mental health services, and offer an emergency department.
