Early Works Stage 1

These early works are part of the Government’s $368 million major redevelopment for healthcare provision on the Central Coast. The scope of works included the demolition, refurbishment and fit out of both the Mandala Building and LHD Administration building.

Donnelley Constructions has extensive experience with working in a sensitive, live environment and again at Gosford Hospital all services remained operational throughout the entirety of the works. Adding to the challenges faced by the operations team, was working next to the Kullaroo Medical Centre which ran clinics all week. Regular communication with the associated hospital staff was paramount and precise planning lead to a very successful outcome.

Donnelley Constructions has been awarded and has now commenced Early Works Stage 2 at Gosford Hospital. The completion of this major project will deliver a new emergency department, intensive care and high dependency unit expansion, improved operating theatres, maternity services and more inpatient beds for medical, acute and sub-acute services. Clinical and non-clinical support services, and car parking, will be increased.
