Project Profile

Donnelley Constructions delivered the $6 million Total Asset Management (TAM) building at Nepean Hospital, constructed concurrently with the CAMHS facility as part of the broader campus redevelopment. Works included tree removal, detailed excavation, and the relocation of an existing driveway to allow for the construction of a new single storey building for the TAM department. The building accommodates male and female change rooms, office spaces, a staff room, gas storage, and dedicated workshops for the hospital’s gardeners, fitters, painters, electricians, plumbers, and mechanical employees.

The sites proximity to public roadways and ambulance access routes required careful management of traffic, deliveries and pedestrian movements. Throughout construction, specialised hospital requirements were successfully implemented, ensuring the delivery of trade specific workshops, offices and storage areas met staff operational needs. These works required close coordination with hospital stakeholders to ensure systems were installed, commissioned and connected without disrupting critical hospital operations, while maintaining compliance with operational and safety standards.

The project demonstrates the company’s ability to manage challenging logistics, maintain operational continuity, and deliver high quality buildings that meet the specific needs of hospital maintenance team and support services.
